Destiny connection

Hi there. I m Lukas and i would like 2 ask why i cant play Destiny.I played the game yesterday and ewerything was allright but today i cant join server.Today my dad called 2 xbox support in our country cause some troubles with twitch apps i had.They tested
connection and multiplayer connection and ewerything was right.Cause saturday and sunday theres no support by xbox i would like 2 ask anyone 4 help...If anyone can help me he ll be best human all ower the world .thx u 4 yours help and sorry if my english

Destiny = Borderlands?

I can see the connection with the loot system, but Destiny is definitely going to be a new beast. To me, there will still be room for both series when Destiny is released, because they both still have their own unique identity and are made well.

Destiny requires an internet connection. It's an MMO game.

 

Possibly a NAT issue.

If you haven't already first switch off your xbox then switch off you router/modem for a couple of minutes. The switch the router/modem back on. Wait a couple of minutes for the router to fully connect to the internet then switch xbox back on.

If that doesn't work you may need to use port forwarding to forward UDP port 1200 to your xbox as destiny needs that port to be open. You should post the make and model number of your router so that someone with knowledge of that router can give you instructions
on how to port forward.

 

Do you have the latest Firmware for your router?

 

I just got destiny and as soon as it finished loading live went down. Now its back up and its saying i cant connet. Wtf? Help me out before i murder something. Please.

For future reference, the best way to get support for your issue is to create your own thread. Replying to one a few months old can lead to your reply getting lost or overlooked, and nobody wants that!

As for your issue, I believe it's most likely related to some widespread server downtime Xbox Live is currently experiencing. This downtime is preventing many users from signing into Xbox Live or from using Xbox Live games (such as Destiny) or apps (such
as Netflix and YouTube). I'd give this a few hours and see if your issues resolve themselves. If they don't, feel free to create a new thread and hopefully we can get you sorted out as soon as possible!
