    Destiny Collector's Edition Purchase won't play signs me out


    I've already purchased Destiny Collector's edition The Taken King and downloaded the initial download

    But when I go to play it from the games menu it acts like it's trying to start and simply signs out my live account sending me back to my home screen

    I've cleared systems cache and downloaded it again

    Checked to make sure the purchase was showing on my account

    none of the new content is showing and I'm at a loss as to what to try next

    Destiny The Taken King for 360

    I purchased the TTK Collector's Edition Digital for $80 content on the Xbox Store and I just realize that is bit more expensive than the destiny orbit section. It tells me that it requires the TTK even though I bought the Collector's Edition about few days
    ago before when it came out... Is really depressing when you have the Collector's Edition and you can't even play the game.

    Press X to sign out of your profile. Download your profile.

    ◾Press the Xbox Guide button on your controller (large X button in the center of your controller).

    ◾Select Download Profile

    ◾Enter the Microsoft account associated with your Xbox LIVE gamertag.

    ◾Enter your Microsoft account password.

    Press X to sign out of your profile. Download your profile.

    Just to clarify, what edition of The Taken King did you purchase and when did you purchase it? You can check your purchase history on your
    Microsoft Commerce page. If you purchased Destiny: The Taken King - Legendary Edition, according to the

    Xbox Store page    , the Collector's Edition Digital Upgrade is not included in that bundle. If you would like to acquire the Collector's Edition content, you can purchase the content from the

    Xbox Store     directly provided you already own the following:

    • Destiny
    • Expansion I: The Dark Below
    • Expansion II: House of Wolves
    • Destiny: The Taken King

    Sorry to hear it. In order for The Taken King to be downloaded separately you would have needed to purchase both of the previous DLC's AND Destiny on the same gamertag. If no one can access TTK then my presumption is that the game and content were each
    purchased on a separate tag.

    Your only option here would be to purchase the Legendary or Collector's Edition. It's a little more but will give you the game and all DLC up to TTK which you will be able to access and play on the console.
