    Destiny - cannot join fireteam


    Need advice. I can't join my son's fireteam and he can't join mine. When we try, it says "Joining Fireteam" and then immediately "Unable to join Fireteam please try again later." I can join other fireteam's no problem. So what's the issue? I do have Strict
    NAT set up, but I also have Port Forwarding for Xbox live so it shouldn't be an issue.

    Destiny fireteam issue

    Hey folks. Two days ago after a small update on my xbox one.... Destiny suddenly became wonky. I cannot join friends fireteams. I cannot even invite them to join my fireteam. It worked like a dream prior to that update... Can anyone tell me what to
    do or give me some direction? This game is hella fun playing with friends. And incredibly not fun playing alone. Cheers

    Hi DarthWarduke

    Did your son just start a character? If so he need to do a few things before he can join any fireteam. Do the first mission. Return to the tower and speak to everyone including the speaker and then return to orbit.

    If he has done this already then it could be another issue. I would be more then willing to help out.

    hi I'm having the same problem. ive played with my son since day one. and then I pre ordered rise of iron and since then we can't play together we can join other people and be in the same party but can't be in the same fireteam anyone else having this problem
    ? as is driving me crazy lol Destiny - cannot join fireteam :)

    My son and I also have the same problem now. We downloaded RISE OF IRON as a pre order and played until this week October 14,2017, unable to join target player. But we can join different friends and only do Raids together when we get through 1,000 invites

    I can't see my friend in game playing Destiny

    I'm not sure how you're playing Destiny as the game requires a Gold Membership.

    However, when you have a Gold Membership to play multiplayer games you can press the Start button and then Left Trigger to scroll left. From there find his tag in the online list, press A then select Invite to Fireteam or Join Fireteam to join the same
    game with him.

    Never heard of this happening. Have you tried doing a hard reset on your console?
