Destiny - Can only play Rise of Iron

I've been playing since shortly after the April update, using the license of the base game and all the DLCs from another account on my system. Until now, I've never had a problem, but after Rise of Iron launched I have found that I can only play Rise of
Iron things. Every time I start the game, it tells me to enjoy my trial, and says Requirements Not Met for everything besides the trial missions and the actual Rise of Iron things. Due to this, I can't go to the Reef, or play CoE, or level up another character.
This is quite frustrating, and a full reinstall and hard system reset haven't solved the issue. I posted on the Bungie help forums but was referred here as well.

Destiny Rise of Iron issue

I seem to be getting something different.

I can't easily find "Destiny: Rise of Iron" in the store pages without doing a manual search for "Rise of Iron".

I get an add-on page for ROI, but there's no purchase/pre-order options. There's only a message that says "(!) Destiny: Rise of Iron is currently not available."

Preordering Rise of iron

Hi all,

In order to purchase Destiny: Rise of Iron you must make sure your account which is trying to purchase Rise of Iron owns Destiny: The Taken King. That is required to be able to purchase Rise of Iron.

Now if you have finished that step then you have a few methods of which you can buy the DLC:

1. You can sign into your account via this link here:
www.microsoft.com/.../c3tbg0pc3fc9 and buy the DLC

Or

2. Launch your game and under the director select the icon for Rise of Iron and select purchase and try to purchase the DLC.

Now you also could try searing the Store on your Xbox One for "Destiny: Rise of Iron" but if you do make sure it says "Pre-Order" otherwise you will run into the issue of it stating it can only be bought in a bundle.

could having another account be the problem? if you bought rise of iron on your account but have the game on another then you wouldnt be able to play the other content because your account does not own it

Thanks for the reply my man. I bought rise of iron on the same account as the base game and all the other DLC however, so that can't be the problem. And it actually persists when I try to play on that account as well.
