Destiny Beta falls at the first hurdle

I'm currently stuck at 86% and have been for awhile now. Don't know if I should keep being patient with it or restart and try and download again. Any suggestions anyone?

 

Placed my code last night. At 2% it said ready to start..... I went to bed. Fired it up this morning, loaded fine, created my character, got to the start where the monitor was leading me into a building, away from the outside. Seems great so far..... (had
to go to work)

 

^^ Try seeing if your able to hit resume download. Mine stopped a few times last night and I had to do that. It took about 8 hours for my beta to download (which is fine since I had shows to catch up on). I'm just glad codes were given out earlier than expected.

 

@tCruzin4lyfe "Resume download" isn't an option. All I can do is pause the installation. I'm assuming it's still downloading by it saying that but it has been well over an hour being stuck at 86%

 

^^ Sweet, well at least it's still going then. I did a pause/ resume thing once. Maybe you could try that if it's still not moving or maybe turn your Xbox off then back on.

 

trying to start the game and it says I have no internet and to check network settings, it is all open and working I am online, are the servers having issues

The install screen sucked. However what got me was the graphics. I've played it on PS4, and XBox One and I honestly have to say the graphics are rather week. It really doesn't look any better then a 360, or PS3 game. In fact Rage on 360 looked superior.
Not only in terms of overall image quality, but it had a pretty solid 60 fps compared to Destiny's 30. Still the gameplay is great and im looking forward to grabbing it when it hits PS4.

Since I have installed on all four platforms...

- PS4 install is similar to Xbox One, just without the glitch. If you start Destiny on the PS4 before download is complete, you just go to the same download screen as people have observed for Xbox One.

- 360 downloads the same as other titles, however it must be run from a HDD. From a MU it will start, then state it has to run from HDD and go back to the start screen.

- PS3 downloads the way all PS3 titles do. First it downloads, then it installs. Installation takes a while.

The fastest to go from download to in-game is the 360, followed by the PS4, then Xbox One, then PS3.
