Destiny beta code

It was my understand that upon pre-order of destiny from Microsoft, I would recieve a beta code, or was I wrong?

I am sorry to hear that you are not receiving your Destiny Beta Code. I have searched online and seeing a lot of people having the same problem. Have you tried creating a Bungie Account and linking your xbox account to that to see if that works. If that
does not work, I have JUST found your answer. Bungie has said that on the 17th, the beta will be released for Playstation owners, Xbox owners will get the beta on the 23rd. I am sorry for the wait and hope this has resolved your issue. Have a nice day. Any

hello all, I just received my beta codes via email a little ago. After going in and entering all of them multiple times I have found that none of them work. Has this been an issue for anyone else? I also tried to enter some that my friend gave me, the extra
2 that he has and those both did not work. Can someone please help.

@TonierEarth9 - a friend of mine had the same issue. He figured out that it was because he did not have a Gold membership at the time.

As the Beta is for online play you would need to have a Gold membership in order to play it.

 

I ordered on the 13th and have gotten zero emails with codes. What gives?

 

After pre-ordering the Destiny game in order to gain access to the beta I have encountered the worse possible customer service imaginable.

After placing my order I got a screen that confirmed my order with a handy little confirmation number. The email on file was incorrect even though I had an updated email already in xbox live and my Microsoft .net account.

After 12 attempts contacting and speaking with Microsoft, Bungie, and Xbox live support, I still can't get in on the beta. Each rep passed me to the other company. As I begged for second level support and to speak to managers, all I get are delays and
transfers.

At this point I'm waiting on the escalated support person to contact me from Microsoft (not holding my breath). I've missed the first day and have given up hope of actually making it into the beta.

I just had to put something out there to let people know the customer service I've received has been horrendous. I'm an old guy who's dealt with everything from Court systems, DMV, cell phone companies, etc. and I've never been so underwhelmed by a company's
support.

Despite that, I do think the game will be decent if I can ever get it.

 

Same here. I was passed around with no one person seeming to know a damn thing. I finally cancelled my order and just ordered through another vendor.
