Destiny Beta Access code issue

On my xbox it is saying that we can gain access to the destiny beta today for those who have pre-ordered and I have but I haven't got a e-mail today saying so. Can I get help and this?

Need help retaining my Beta Access Code for Destiny 2.

I bought destiny 2 on my Xbox one but I have not received my early beta access code..

 

The beta doesn't start till the end of the month for Xbox. PS4 is getting the beta on the 17th. They meant you can gain access to the beta by pre-ordering your copy. Gamestop gives you a nine digit code at the bottom of your receipt once you pre-order the
game. You have to create an account on bungie.net/beta and redeem the nine digit code Gamestop gave you. They'll email you the beta code once the beta goes live at the end of the month.

 

I pre-ordered Destiny from Amazon and they have e-mailed me my 9 digit code. So how does this work then (I've never played a beta before)? Does it mean I can play without the disk before it is released? Just limited multiplayer only or some single player
campaign too? Sorry if these sound stupid questions!

 

The beta will start for Xbox 360 and Xbox One on the 23rd of July. Keep an eye on your email box for the time being

 

@pulsar - Be sure to register that code on Bungie.net as the code you received is the reservation code. When the time comes Bungie will email you the beta code.

I ordered Destiny thru the microsoft store, its been several days now and i haven't received a beta code yet. whats up with that?

so what if we use the Microsoft store we wont get a nine digit code?

 

If they say in the product description that they are offering beta access codes they should email you the code a few days after your pre order is payed for and authorised. Most online stores have a 3 to 5 day waiting period. If they don't send you the code
via email within that time contact them asap.

 

@Auswolf7, I've pre-ordered Destiny with Amazon, but don't have to pay for the product until it is being packaged so not until a few days before release/delivery. I can still cancel my pre-order up until about a week before release/delivery. I assume everyone
could therefore place a pre-order, get the code, then cancel the pre-order? Doesn't personally bother me, but just curious as to how this would work?

 

I've had a few customer do that to me. I work at Gamestop. They'll pre-order the game for $5, than come in the next week and cancel their pre-order. it *** me off, but there isn't anything I can do about it.

 

Lol! I'll have to do that too except I'll go cancel later that day.
