Destiny: Beagle error code

Hey there. Found this thread because I just received this error message as well. I'm on an xbox 1 with a hard copy of destiny.

The frustrating this is I am level 25 and have never had this happen before. My brother and fiance both have xbox 1's with digital download copies that I played on before I got my own xbox 1.

The trigger was oddly going into Mars to finish the last two story missions with my 2 friends.

I'm thinking that @Noble00Se7en's Idea is the best at this point. My roommate refuses to have a higher download speed than 6 mbps so uninstalling and installing 4 or 5 times is a daunting task.

I'll try to uninstall and delete and then install the disc instead of downloading the content.

Total hours I've spent on my own xbox 1 and disc is ~5 hours.

Go to Settings >> Disc & Blu-ray >> Persistent Storage >> Clear Persistent Storage. Please do this step for 3 times. Go to Settings >> Network >> Advanced Settings >> Alternate MAC >> Clear Alternate MAC >> Restart the console.

1.While the console is on, press and hold the console’s Xbox button for 5 seconds.

2.The console will power down. Unplug the power cable\power supply.

This is the first game I have gotten for XB1, and the only one so far. I have the disk copy, btw. Today was my first day playing, and I finished the first mission and reached the tower, but as soon as I did, it crashed. When i restarted the game as suggested,
it gives me the server error as stated above. I have just begun the reinstallation of the game, and will update with further details if it doesn't work.

I had this issue after getting the latest patch and finally fixed it after multiple reinstalls. What I did was delete destiny from the hard drive and also delete the patches as well. You do not have to delete your saved game file. Then go back to the main
storage menu and tap Y to go to storage options and clear system cache. Then just download/install the game again and it should work. I have the digital version of the game so I am not sure if it makes a difference. I hope this helps.

I have the digital download as well. I've been having the same problem as everyone else too. First off bungie doesn't seem to help, don't bother wasting your time trying to contact anyone there. IMO they knew their digital downloads were messed up and just
didn't bother to fix it assuming people would waste the money on the download, and then just go buy the disc after trying everything they could in their power to fix it. I've cleared my cache over and over, deleted my profile, downloaded the game over and
over and over these pass two weeks, reformatted my hard drive 4 times... called xbox live, and they couldn't do anything. ive also opened the ports in my router... I'm still unable to play this game.... we're all just screw... I hope bungie does do something,
or they'll lose a lot of people to this.

I found a fix for the owners of the digital version of Destiny (of whom I am one). Steps to resolve:

Delete the compatibility update (140+ mb) and the saved content (2mb) from your HDD
Clear the cache
Open/forward the ports described here:
www.bungie.net/.../11930
Start Destiny and allow it to install all updates - it should be working now

I had attempted multiple full re-download & installs with no success until I also cleared the cache and opened the appropriate ports on my router. Interestingly, I did not need to do a full re-download of the game itself for this to work, although if the
above steps fail I would recommend also adding that (just in case).

I'm some where around my 30th re-install (wish that was a joke but sadly not) and the game is still getting the Beagle error. Furthest I've made it since I bought the game on lunch was past the 1st mission then it crashed and I have never made it that far
again. I've tried power cycling and factory rest. I have a feeling using a different internet connection might work but I have yet to have a chance to test it. m=Makes no sense why mine doesn't work because I'm getting 0 disconnections and 0 packet loss. With
35mb download and 6mb upload. Wish someone had some sort of direction to go on this. Please keep me posted on any ideas to fix this issue.
