Destiny Achievements Unlocked from Xbox 360 to Xbox One improperly and unwanted.

I have looked and contacted everyone I've been told to contact in the last 48 hours, however I've been asked to come here, after talking with Xbox Customer support, then being told to contact Activision and then being told to contact Bungie who said
to contact Microsoft. Please help!

Yesterday morning my brother wanted to play Destiny on my Xbox One, he has his own account but since it's my console, I didn't think anything of this while my account was logged in. I've played the game Destiny on Xbox 360 and unlocked some achievements
along the way, however I had never played it on Xbox One. I popped in the game and it installed like normal, no problem, however as soon as it finished updating the game started and then achievements began unlocking. I was shocked and tried to exit out because
I didn't want it to happen. When I checked my achievement on my Xbox One console, it has unlocked 9 achievements I have earned on Xbox 360 to now my Xbox One. When I look at the achievements I have earned on Xbox 360, it doesn't add up. On Xbox 360 I have
unlocked 31 achievements, on Xbox One I've unlocked 9. Something didn't sync or work right and at this point if I ever decided to play Destiny on Xbox One with this certain account, they wont unlock or I wont be credited correctly.

What I want is this to be reset, deleted, locked back up as if I haven't played Destiny on the Xbox One yet. I did not want these achievements to unlock like this.

I have been in contact with Xbox Customer Support, talking with countless agents on the phone and forums. I have been troubleshooting for hours doing everything the forums have said and done what other fellow gamers have done to at least try and get the
achievements to sync correctly since I'm at the moment stuck with them unlocked. Xbox then directed me to contact Activision as they are the publisher of the game. I had talked with Activison on the phone and through chat support and was told to come here
as Bungie would be the ones to fix this problem. Bungie has said it is something on Microsoft's end. I don't know what more I can do to resolve what should have always been a feature of the Xbox LIVE service from the get go but still is not. If anyone with
Microsoft Support is reading this, please help me remove this horrible mistake or at least fix something. If you have other questions, need more details or anything please please please let me know. I would like this accident resolved and it would help me
sleep better at night. Thank you for your time.

I have the same issue I am missing gamerscore

 

Hi, The achievements unlocking like they did is by design on Destiny, as everything you do on the Xbox 360 continues on the Xbox One, and vice versa. The Xbox One version sometimes has issues unlocking achievements, what you have to do to get them to unlock,
is log out of Destiny and then log back in again, that should unlock them for you.

 

Unfortunately I have already tried that, like I said earlier, I've tried all the troubleshooting steps that I could find through forums and through customer support and nothing has resolved my issue. That is why I have come here for help. The last agent
I spoke with after being re-directed back to these forums assured me that someone here once they saw my post would be able to fix my issue but it just might take time. I have tried everything though, I've tried the logging out and logging in trick, deleting
my profile and re downloading it, even resetting my console. I've tried re-earning some of the easier achievements, just to see if they would unlock then, nothing. Honestly I don't understand why deleting your own achievements to re earn them is not a feature
yet of Xbox LIVE yet but it should be, there's tons of people that want it and it would help cases like mine. I appreciate your response but I need support from someone who understands and has access to my account.

I just checked your profile and it shows that you have the same amount of achievements/gamerscore in both the Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions.

The reason it unlocks the achievements is because your characters are available on both consoles, so the moment it loads up your character, it validates your progress and unlocks the appropriate achievements.

Unfortunately, there is no way for you to reset your achievement progress. Microsoft only resets players gamerscore completely if they are caught violating the Terms of Use (gaining gamerscore via illegitimate ways, such as modding).

 

I just noticed it updated this morning too, so at least that is fixed and I'm a little happier, but I still don't understand why deleting achievements is not an option. I blows my mind how obsessive people can get that they might want to delete them just
to re-earn them again. Brings more replay value to not only the games but the account and console itself. If Microsoft were to ask me if I wanted them to reset all of my Achievements I honestly would LOVE LOVE LOVE that because then I could play through my
older games and newer games and get that unlocking sound once again.

On a side note I did find an area where people are actually asking for such a feature so I'm hoping they will notice

I definitely agree, I used to be obsessive over my gamerscore and a friend accidentally played a few games using my profile. Back in the day, you couldn't remove any games from your Achievement history but they've changed that to allow us to remove games
with zero achievements unlocked.

Perhaps in the future, they will allow us to remove achievements completely, I'll be surprised if that happens though.

 

You never know, my biggest pet peeve for the longest time was the storage space on the Xbox 360, I couldn't fit all my dlc and games onto the small 500GB HDD Microsoft required you to have, or at least the highest size they had available, as soon as the
update came out for external HDD's I bought one that day. If Microsoft is always making these changes they say they can't or won't, I think its crap because before you know it they make it happen. They have to make this happen, it'll make alot of people
much happier with their profiles.
