destiny 360 ttk 3999 shows up in game but not on the games store

Sorry to hear it. The option to purchase TTK for Destiny will only be available on the 360 through the game. This is because only those who have purchased the previous two DLC's will have the option to buy it.

Also, as per Bungie you will not be able to share the DLC to other gamertags on the previous gen consoles. On the 360 and the Playstation 3 each gamertag must purchase all the DLC themselves if they want to play TTK on their accounts.

i was just on the destiny website where the option to purchase the ttk on 360 was there. i was then forwarded to xbox.com where there was only the option to purchase on xbox one. does anyone know whats up with that?

I purchased the TTK Collector's Edition Digital for $80 content on the Xbox Store and I just realize that is bit more expensive than the destiny orbit section. It tells me that it requires the TTK even though I bought the Collector's Edition about few days
ago before when it came out... Is really depressing when you have the Collector's Edition and you can't even play the game.

I understand you are having questions with purchasing The Taken King Digital copy solely instead of the bundle. I have confirmed with Xbox that the The taken King [temporarily priced at 39.99] is not available through xbox.com or through destinythegame.com.
The least expensive edition are [ledgendary for 59.99 and collector's for 79.99] Also just so you know only the"bundle" is available for TTK. For you gamers who don't have Destiny-this is a PLUS , for you gamers who already have Destiny, Expansion II and Expansion
II-think of this as getting "twice the ice". but this is your only option if purchasing through xbox.com. Just a heads up if you go to destinythegame.com to purchase TTK, it will direct you to xbox.com. Soooo yeeeaaah....Now there may be a light in the tunnel
for you if this works...If you by chance own the Destiny game, exp 1 and exp 2 under your gamertag and you try to purchase the TTK "within" the game itself you may be able to get it for 39.99[no promises] But if you purchase TTK on 360 you cant play it on
xbox one-you will be required to purchase it on the xbox one...but if you purchase it on the xbox one you will be able to play on xbox 360-for free----yay!

It is the Bungie way, but yup it sucks especially with Destiny. With the Halo games you had a few years before the next big thing came out and playlists got chopped down drastically. With Destiny for those without TTK its only a year and I hope if enough
players make a fuss Bungie will do something about! I really don't see too much of a point in playing Destiny without TTK at this Point. Bungie might need to take a look at Battlefield and COD, they release new games yearly without cripling the previous year's
game.
