Destiny 2 won't start

    Destiny 2 won't start


    I'm part of the preview program but since the last Destiny update it just won't start any idea of what I could do?

    Destiny 2 Beta Won't Start

    The Destiny 2 Beta was slated to start at 10 am PST (1 pm EST). If you tried before that then it would not be available. However, the beta should be available now for play.

    You may need to go directly onto Bungie's website and find their support in order to fix this.

    Destiny 2 won't start

    If you haven't already try power cycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds until it shuts down. If that doesn't work then try a factory reset. There is an option to keep installed games and apps so you won't need to redownload
    them.

    Aside from onyx's recommendations, is your game not launching/black screen then dash, or are you not getting past the main menu (i.e. "Cannot connect to servers" pops-up on a splash screen)?

    If doing a power cycle doesn't work you might also try uninstalling the game and re installing it as well.

    Destiny 2 won't start

    I just checked the Xbox Insider Hub and there are no known issues relating to this. I would suggest first power cycle the console, then if it still does not work, uninstall and reinstall the game. Perform a factory reset as a last resort.
