I have no problems with any other disc and ive tried cleaning it around 5 times...

Can you try my cleaning method, as others had success with this method where other suggestions failed.

Even if you did steps in this instruction already, please do them again, just to be sure.

First, eject your Destiny 2 disc, if not already done so.

Hold the Power button on the console for about 10 seconds until the console has completely shut down.

Turn the console back on, and make sure it shows a green boot-up screen with the Xbox Logo. If it doesn't show the boot-up screen, hold the power button for 20 seconds, and turn the console back on.

Since the green boot screen will take a while to start the console, take your Destiny 2 disc to the kitchen, and apply a small drop of mild dishwasher soap on the silver side of the disc.

With wet fingers, "massage" the soap around the disc until the whole silver side is completely covered in soap foam.

Now hold the disc ONLY with your index finger in the center hole, and your thumb on the outer edge of the disc and make sure not to touch the silver side with your fingers!

Rinse the disc under running water until no soap is left on the disc.

Shake the disc several times to get the water off and wipe the remaining drops with a soft, lint-free cloth (if a family member is wearing glasses, the cloth for cleaning such glasses would be ideal).

By now the console should have finished starting, and you can insert the disc. Check that the Destiny 2 tile appears in the row of recently played apps/games and has a disc icon in the corner.

If that didn't help, you'll have to contact Activision support for a disc replacement.

Have you tried to powercycle your xbox by holding the on button for 5-10 seconds it should clear the cache and might solve your issue

My son got the destiny game and it won't read it. All other games work and destiny even works on 2 other 360 consoles. Do I return the disc to the store for a new one? I don't understand why it just won't work on his. I about ready to throw the console out
the window!!
