Destiny 2 trial version

I bought Destiny 2, years ago and saw today that Destiny 2 trial version is listed in the games and apps section. When I start the game it tells me to have fun playing, I can't travel to the tower or other planets. Because the game tells me to buy the game.

As I have checked, destiny 2 itself is a free game you can simply sign in to this link and click "Get" in order for you to have the license for the game: https://www.xbox.com/en-us/games/store/destiny-...

Now, if you're trying to locate or access expansion inside of the game, that's the time when you will be needing to purchase the DLCs or expansion packs inside of the game.

Old thread, I know. But I'm having a similar problem to this date. I had destiny with the first 2 DLC's (everything but taken King) on my Xbox 360. I stopped playing in that for a while. Just recently I looked into for my xbox one. When I tried to purchase
destiny itself, it always placed me back at the home screen so I was never able to purchase it. That's when I got the trial version. After getting the trial version, I bought the taken king collectors edition. However since it still won't let me buy destiny,
I'm stuck in trial and can't access anything new, let alone anything that comes with just the full version of destiny. If anyone can help that'd be great, I can explain it more if anyone needs, I know this is a super long paragraph XD

Hey I need help with this, I've been having the trial forever, I bought the regular Destiny: Taken King bundle, but when I redownloaded the trial version ( wont let me download any other copy of destiny) and when I'm in game , it tells me I'm still in trial
mode. The bundle is useless. Help?!

UPDATE:

Unlike certain games on the 360, Destiny allowed me to get the acheivements for my time in the trial version. I had issue previously with demo => disc achievement transfer on the 360.

I get code Chimpanzee on my 360 now if I try to play the trial version now.
