    Destiny 2 - Stuck on "Connecting" Screen


    I've tried everything I can think of and I'm starting to run out of patience. I've been playing Destiny 2 since it first released, with few to no technical issues whatsoever. But all of a sudden, when I try to play tonight, the
    game will leave me stuck infinitely on the "Connecting" screen (right after you press A to launch). I can't even make it to Login or Verifying Content.

    I've tried relaunching the game, restarting my console, hard resetting my console, and I've just reinstalled everything, all to no avail. Can someone please help me?

    EDIT: I decided to try just booting up the game like normal this morning after clearing my MAC, and it was working again. Thank you all for the help though, and I'll be sure to give these other methods a try if it happens again!

    This type of problem can occur when the game can not connect with the servers. Sometimes it would be enough to restart the router to reset the connection. It could also depend on the connection. In the network settings, what's the type of NAT associated?

    Hey Chrome Shield,

    Thank you for responding. In order to clear your MAC address simply head on over to your Settings>Network>Network Settings>Advanced Settings>Alternate MAC Address>Clear. This will restart your console. If the issue persists, I would recommend running a connection
    test just to make sure there is nothing funny going on such as a NAT Type error or some sort of firewall setting.

    1. Press the Xbox button
      to open the guide.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select All Settings.
    4. Select Network.
    5. Select Network settings. Any known outages will appear in the middle of the screen.
    6. On the right side of the Network settings screen, select
      Test multiplayer connection      .

    Hi, maybe it did not depend on Xbox but from Destiny servers that were in maintenance definitely
