    Destiny 2 shutting down my Series X


    Off and on since the X/S update over a year ago I've had problems with Destiny 2 shutting down my Series X. The issue has been especially bad with the current season of the game. I have tried every suggested fix I've read online and still no improvement. Will I need to send my console in? Destiny 2 is the only game this happens with. I also play a lot of other games like Fortnite, Halo, Forza Horizon 5, Rogue Company, etc.

    I was in the insider program but never signed up for the Beta updates. I did leave completely about a week ago just in case that had something to do with it. I have also tried a different outlet, factory resetting, clearing cache, uninstalling and reinstalling, unplugging all external devices, tried a different hdmi port, etc. I have read a few people on Playstation are having eerily similar situation to mine. If it is an issue with the game, it's a rare one. I wish I could contact Bungie and/or Microsoft to see if it's something similar to other games such as Madden and Fifa.

    20 min into playing games i statt having lag. I've tried 4 diff controllers.

    I only play Destiny 2 pretty much right now but it also does it on the menu screen when I leave Destiny to shut down my Xbox
