    Destiny 2 shuts down my console


    when I attempt to load the game...

    The gosh darn Xbox shuts down, and leaves me with a blinking controller in my hand, and it won't restart. I thought it may be the power supply so I got another one which worked for a while but now has stopped working. Is this a Xbox thing? A Destiny 2
    thing? Or a internet issue?

    Help!

    Scorpio Ed. Xbox One X Shutting Off Automatically

    Hello Paul,

    My console has shut off twice automatically since I've did the soft reset. I will do a Full Factory Reset and reinstall Destiny 2 and some Apps tonight.

    Have you tried clearing your cache by holding down the power button on your console for 10 seconds?

    This is definitely an odd issue. Do try the power cycle that Crazy suggests. Also, is the console plugged into a wall socket or a power bar? If it's plugged into a power bar then make sure that you only plug it directly into a wall socket as the console
    has a built in surge protector.

    You could also try doing a factory reset on the console to see if that helps. There is an option to keep installed games and apps so you won't need to redownload them afterwards.

    If all else fails then the issue could be with the console itself and would need to be sent in for repair.     20 min into playing games i statt having lag. I've tried 4 diff controllers.

    I only play Destiny 2 pretty much right now but it also does it on the menu screen when I leave Destiny to shut down my Xbox
