Destiny 2 Osiris not recognized as owned

I purchased the digital download of Destiny 2 with the season pass and have been playing it since launch, including all the Curse of Osiris content. I just got my son an xbox live account and he has successfully played D2 (on the same console) and has been
increasing his level. He just reached level 260 which unlocked Heroic Strikes and Nightfall. However, when he tries to do those events it states that the Curse of Osiris is needed and only gives the option to purchase.

Destiny 2 coming this year what's speculations you give for the Osiris history and others included in game?

Hi, to play Forsaken on destiny 2, you also need the Curse of Osiris and Warmind. As you own Destiny 2 already, you will have to purchase The Expansion pass, which will give you the 1st two dlc, and then purchase the Forsaken dlc seperately.

To clarify, is the console that your son is playing on set as the
Home console for your account? It would need to be set as the Home console for an account that owns that content, in order for that content to share.

 

I have found that for some content I have to log into my account even though I had it set as home console for my son, and just boot it up once with both of us logged on and he doesn't have issues. Not sure if this is just superstition, luck or if it helps.
But it works for us!
