    DESTINY 2 NOT WORKING ON XBOX APP NOR THE MICROSOFT STORE


    I was away from the game for about a month, when I came back to it, the game won't start. Seeming like battleye not starting or installing. Before it worked perfectly fine, no issues. I've made sure the files are correct, and on a different harddrive than Steam. Reinstalled everything and still nothing. Did I really pay for a game I can't play. I really need help with this, I've tried every fix that's been posted.

    Check for updates on Windows Update, update everything including optional/additional updates, and also follow the steps below.

    1. Logout from Xbox app and Microsoft Store app

    2. Look for the Xbox app and Microsoft Store in the Windows bar, right-click, click app settings and then click terminate, restore and reset. Do this with the game too.

    3. Clear the store cache type ''wsreset'' in the Windows bar, run as admin, and wait for the screen to close and open the store automatically.

    4. Open the Microsoft Store, click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner ''download and updates'' and click on ''get updates'' and update everything.

    5. Login with your account again in both apps and try again.

    All games installed trough Xbox app will be updated trough the Microsoft store app as it's the one that manage all games installed trough Xbox app, in the Microsoft store you should be able to look at the progress

    This should be because the account you are using in the Xbox app is different from the one on the Microsoft store app, please look for the game trough the Microsoft store app and select get from there instead of the Xbox app

    Well here is an update I didn't think I would nor did I want to give.

    Had a case going on with Xbox Support's Live Agents.
    It seems Bungie has decided to completely cut off the ability to Gameshare on Microsoft Store/Xbox App. So, for those who used it to either share with yourselves for multiple accounts or with family, you will have to rebuy all of the DLC. For each account.

    I don't know if it still happens but Destiny limits you to accessing the content until you reach a certain level. If after 24 hours you have not seen the content, you must contact Bungie.
