Destiny 2 Not Downloading

I have Xbox Game pass and I had the game on my previous laptop but when i got a new one, it refuses to download saying there is an error. Is this due to the fact that it says leaving soon? Have I wasted 50 dollars on DLCs? If so I would like a refund.

Game should be available for install while it's on game pass, you can share more information about the error message so we can try to help with that also

Beta access to Destiny 2 is automatic when you purchase a digital copy. If you do not have the beta downloaded then head over to the Xbox store and search for Destiny 2 - Beta to download it.

Thanks for your answer. I expected to find Destiny automatically downloaded on my Xbox, but nothing. I can just pay to purchase (another) copy of Destiny 2... Something is wrong.

Search the store for "Destiny 2 Beta".

You'll be able to download it from there since you've preordered it digitally.

You can download Destiny 2, and it's DLC from the Xbox app on PC. So your friend who plays on Xbox and PC can play Destiny 2 and the DLC you gifted him on the PC, as long as the PC he has is powerful enough for the game.
