    Destiny 2 - False Parental Controls


    After taking a needed break from Destiny 2, I decided one cold night to launch the game from the bottom of my game library. Upon the game loading, I continually was greeted with "Parental Controls: You must have access to online multiplayer gameplay in order to play Destiny 2. For more information, visit help.bungie.net."

    After double checking that the parental controls were inactive (they were never active), I redownloaded the game and still no luck. Any help here?

    as the game is crossplay now you need to make sure your privacy settings on the xbox account allow play outside of live.

    RESOLVED: I signed out of all devices associated with my Xbox gamertag and resigned in. I'm thinking this was an issue after switching from Xbox One to the Series X.
