    Destiny 2 Cross Save Authentication Error


    I recently got an Xbox and downloaded Destiny 2. I’ve been playing D2 for a while on PS4, and i have a lot of loot. Obviously I want to take advantage of the newly added cross save benefits so that my many hours of loot can be accessible, but I'm having
    issues linking accounts. Whenever I attempt to verify my Xbox account, it says

    "Authentication Error
    We were unable to sign you in with your Xbox Live account. Please visit xbox.com and sign in to verify/update your Xbox Live account. This error usually indicates that your Microsoft account has no Xbox Live Gamertag, or that your account must be updated
    in some way, such as agreeing to an updated terms of use."

    Usually I can figure this stuff out on my own, but apparently not this time. Can I get some help sorting this out? Thanks.

    Yes, I figured it out. For whatever reason, there was an age restriction on my Xbox account, probably for my little brother. Anyway, removing the age restriction and trying again worked for me. Try checking if you have any restrictions at all on your account
    (Xbox or Microsoft) and remove them. This should work for you too.

    Any specific settings that you changed? I went through all the restrictive settings on my Xbox and it didn't seem to fix the issue.
