    Destiny 2 crashing on Series X after 230920-2000


    Destiny 2 keeps crashing my console after the Alpha Skip Ahead update. I can play any other game, just not Destiny 2.

    I've tried

    • Uninstalling and reinstalling Destiny 2
    • Clearing the Console Cache
    • Uninstalling the Forsaken pack

    None of these worked.

    I reported it on the Bungie Help forums but they pointed to how others were having similar problems with the latest ASA Insider update.

    I'm currently downgrading to Delta level to rollback the update to see if that works...

    Xbox series x keeps crashing during mid-game while playing destiny 2.

    I also experience frequent crashes in destiny 2 since light falls release on my Xbox series x. The only other game that constantly crashes is starfield. No other game crashes, example: dead by daylight, Diablo 4 or cyberpunk. Seems to be a hardware issue that Microsoft refuses to officially acknowledge.

    This is still an issue, I’ve just received a series X for Christmas. Destiny 2 has been the only game I’ve played for the past 5 yrs (which is why I was gifted a seieres X for an easy transfer) if I don’t receive any solutions through this thread or otherwise I will be returning the series X for a full refund and just stick with my Xbox one which seems to have no issues running the game. I’ve tried everything you’ve posted in this thread btw.

    Destiny 2 Crash on Series X

    After the game freezes, the console turns off by itself. Almost everyday since Series X launch day, once or twice a day and has nothing to do with playtime. It happens as soon as I start or everything goes well for 6 hours, this happens, I start it again
    and works OK, until the next time (day)...
