    I called and spoke for 30 min with a guy at xbox last night, I digitally downloaded it yesterday and did not receive my code. After the guy on the phone tried to push it as Bungie's issue, I read him Bungies instruction page where it said that the code
    would be given by the retailer. He said I had a valid point and put me on hold for 4-5 mins. When he came back he said it would be sent to me via email on the 21st.

    I'm confused though, because on destinythegame.com it says Pre-Order Beta on July19-20, in the xbox store it says its only on the 19th. ???

    If it was a digital pre order of the game then go to the Xbox store and search for Destiny 2 - Beta.

    If it was a hard copy of the game then keep an eye on the email associated with your order for the Beta code that will need to be used at Bungie.net

    Sorry to hear it. If the pre order was a digital copy then go to the Xbox store and search for Destiny 2 - Beta to predownload it. If this was for a disc copy then keep an eye on your email address for the redeem code.
    it was a digital download. So i dont recieve a code for the beta and i can simply download the beta?

    To clarify, the Destiny 2 Beta begins on July 19th and ends on July 23rd. More information about the beta specifically can be found on the Destiny official website
    HERE.

    If you've pre-ordered the game on the Xbox Store digitally, you won't actually need a beta code as the license for the beta will already be associated with your account. To download the Destiny 2 Beta now, you'll want to go to the Xbox Store and search "Destiny
    2". You'll see the beta available in the list and be able to install it there (It's 12.83 GB, so make sure you have some space available for the game to install).

    If you pre-ordered the game at a retailer, you'll receive a code that you'll need to redeem on the Destiny website
    HERE. Once you redeem the code you'll receive instructions on how to download the beta.

    If you've pre-ordered the game at retail and have not received a code, you'll need to work with the retailer to obtain a code as we don't have the ability to replace beta codes.
