    Destiny 2 affecting my downloads?


    Last night, I downloaded Destiny 2 on my Xbox One. But it took a lot longer than I thought it would. But I noticed it was lagging a lot, and I decided to uninstall it. But when I tried to update Fortnite today, the download was going super slow, and some services were out. Does anyone know if this is just Xbox services being down, or it was Destiny 2 messing with my Xbox?

    I have this same issue however it is not affecting every game. So far it happens with Destiny 2, The Division 2 and For Honor.

    Edit: it is also affecting Xbox insider hub, preventing me from reporting it as a problem.

    Beta access to Destiny 2 is automatic when you purchase a digital copy. If you do not have the beta downloaded then head over to the Xbox store and search for Destiny 2 - Beta to download it.

    Thanks for your answer. I expected to find Destiny automatically downloaded on my Xbox, but nothing. I can just pay to purchase (another) copy of Destiny 2... Something is wrong.

    First of all, check that you have enough storage space available on your Xbox to install Destiny 2 Lightfall. If the hard drive is full, you may not be able to install new content. Free up space by deleting games or apps you no longer need.

    Then make sure you have a stable and fast internet connection. Connection problems may affect the download and installation of content.

    Go to "My Games & Apps" on your Xbox and check if Destiny 2: Lightfall is on your list. If it is there, try installing it from there.
