Destiny 1 Doesn’t won’t install

so I tried to install the original destiny today it it just won’t install, keeps telling me “installation stopped” and I try over and over to re install it. Yet nothing happened, I even cleared the local save data tried resetting the console and everything
else in that area yet it won’t get pass 4-9% installation. I need help fast!

Error code 0x87e0012d

For some reason my Destiny won’t launch after it finished installing because of an error code that pops up which doesn’t seem to exist at all when searched.

Game disk stops installing

I recently bought Battlefield 1 pre-owned from gamestop. I started installing, until it reached 85% then i got the “Installation Stopped” notification. I tried to continue to install but it doesn’t continue. I’ve restarted my xbox a couple of times but it
still won’t go past 85%. Could it be the disk? Should i return the game?

Sorry to hear it. Is this a digital or disc copy? If it's a disc copy then try installing offline. If it's a digital copy then try power cycling the console by holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down to see if that helps.
You could also make sure that there are no pending updates on the console.

Hi,

Unfortunately I won’t be picking up the Division 2. The game just doesn’t off much endgame. I feel at it’s current state Destiny 2 is the best of it’s genre right now

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

We may need to install the game digitally. Please follow the steps below:

1. Cancel the installation and remove the disc.

2. Perform a powercycle on your console.

A. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

B. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

3. Launch Xbox app on your phone and search for the game.

4. Click the game and choose "Download to Console"

5. Wait for the game to install completely before inserting the disc to play it.
