Desperate for help with my Xbox and apex legends connection

Hello,

I’m reaching out in hopes someone can help me out with my xbox/apex legends fps/choppy game play issue’s. I’ve gone through my internet provider without them being able to help me solve anything. I used to think it was my old xbox so I replaced it with a
brand new xbox one x, and it only helped a little bit. When Im playing apex legends the frames are stuttery and choppy. My ports are open and forwarded, and im completley out of ideas and solutions. Someone please help!

I'm relatively sure this has to do with Apex Legends itself not your Xbox. I do remember a bit ago when a bunch of people were complaining about the same thing. One thing I remember contributing to lag was not landing with your squad. (I'm not a huge Apex
player so I'm not 100% up to date) but I remember that if you landed solo it greatly increased lag. But besides that I'm almost certain it's an issue with Apex's servers, not your Xbox. It is a free game after all, server issues do happen. One final thing
could be your internet speed itself, or to much strain on your router A.k.a To many people online at once or your internet not being able to handle the game itself. I hope I might of helped.

Apologies for the late response, I've been spending about an hour digging around looking for an answer to your inquiry. (Including playing a match of apex to see exactly how much data usage it used) For me a quick 10 minute match used 32.6 MBs so your
internet speed itself isn't the problem. And should be more then capable of running Apex no problem. Which leads me to believe the 2% packet loss is the culprit. I'll be re checking this thread. I hope I provided some aid.

thanks for your reply! Agreed that its not my xbox, but on the apex/internet side. My internet speed is around 300mb/s with just myself on it. I do notice though on my server selection there is always at least 2% packet loss, while at my friends house he
has 0%, could this be the culprit?
