Desperate for a party fix please read. No chat since nxoe preview

Ever since about mid NXOE preview no one can hear me in party chat. My cousin tells me my mic icon has a slash through it. My NAT is open and so is his. My xbox is plugged directly into the wall outlet. The mic functions (we've been using Skype as a workaround).
My controller is up to date. I'm not comminicaton banned. I've posted on the NXOE forums.

Please guys this is very frustrating. It's been weeks woth no party chat. Even when the workaround was to use game chat I still wasn't able to be heard.

I'm at my whits end. I've been through the motions of xbox chat support. Is anyone else experiencing this?

NXOE Party chat issues

Ever since I updated to the nxoe my party chat has not worked. Whenever I join a party I can neither hear nor be heard. I have tried everything I can think of to fix it but to no avail. Hoping someone knows what's wrong and can help.

Party chat finally fixed

Hi if you have had a ban and your party chat is no longer working right since it was lifted the update to fix this is now live please make sure people know to check their console for an update I did mine this morning and party chat is work properly again

I have had the same issue I got a 24 hrs comunication ban ever since that I can join party and here them but they can't here me my mic icon is flashing to say I'm speaking but they can't here me also my friends say the same as you I have I slash over mic
I can send voice messages.i phone them up and all I get is they are working on it and it's been 4 weeks

I have the turtle beach px5 and use to work with my xbox one buht ever since this early preview update for oct. it stop working for the chat.. when im in a party or game chat no one cant hear me.. Please this problem fixed asap cuz i cannot chat with any
of my friends and its really getting annoying and frustrating.... Its not working for skype either...

The proper teams are aware of this issue and working hard to resolve it. Since this issue is related to NXOE, please report the issue using the Feedback app on your Xbox One console and then visit our Preview
Program forums to report the issue directly to the Preview Program team.

are you on the preview/NXOE? If so its a known issue and a fix is in the works.

If you are not a preview member - can you set other pics as your background?

I think...and I stress think here....that he is talking about the old preview program won't be getting updates until the NXOE is released to everyone. As in the OP never enrolled in the NXOE and wanted to be part of the 'old' preview dashboard therefore
he won't be getting an update for a while because they aren't messing with the 'old' preview dashboad, only with the NXOE.

But, again, I think that's what was meant.

EDIT: We should be getting an update in the next 24 hours or so to fix a bug. Mike Ybarra tweeted earlier today that they hoped to have a fix within the next 24 to 48 hours.
