    Ok guys since todays(25/2/22) update to the desktop app, the video keeps freezing/lagging by minutes, but the game sounds tell me that the games running and the inputs are doing what they should. I'm on a stable 100Mbs wired connection , and never had this problem before the update.

    Is there a way to roll the app back to the previous state before the update, because it's just unplayable as is.

    :)

    Thanks for the reply. None of the suggested made any difference for the better, in fact its now actually worse since reinstalling. Game sound again is fine and so is the input, it's just the video streaming is around 5 minutes behind input and sound, yes I start here and timed the moment of input and game sound signalling in game movement and when the video actually showed the movement. And suggesting I restore the os to try and fix a fault with a update on a app is clutching at straws.

    I see. Probably could be indeed a glitch with the update. But using the ISO image tool to restore, you will not lose any data, there's an option there to keep your files and installed games. I think it's worth the try.

    Hello dear Gamer, first it's a pleasure to be able to help you today.

    My name is Vinicius.

    I am a gamer and independent advisor on the XBOX community platform.

    Hey SubOhmDrew, how are you today? Hope you're well.

    Unfortunately, there's no way to roll back the app updates. :/

    But there are a few things we could try:

    So, let's try this, first, make sure your windows and all its services are up to date:

    Open Settings, click Update and Security and then Windows Update;

    Click Check for Updates;

    Click the Download and Install Now option, if available;

    Also, check the Microsoft Store for any updates on the Xbox apps and its services.

    ______________________________________________________________

    Then try this:

    Go to windows settings > apps > search for gaming services app > click on it and select advanced options.

    After that, click repair and then restore, open the app and try again.

    Then do the same for the Xbox app:

    Go to windows settings > apps > search for Xbox app > click on it and select advanced options.

    After that, click repair and then restore, open the app and try again.

    ______________________________________________________________

    Then, try to uninstall and install the Xbox app. :)

    ______________________________________________________________

    If it still doesn't work you're going to uninstall the games services using a powershell command.

    In the windows search bar type Powershell > Right click and select open as administrator > Type the command: "get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-Appxpackage –allusers" > Wait for the process to finish and then restart the PC, then open your Xbox gamepass app, it will ask you to install the gaming services again, install it and try again.

    Then, after you do it, you're going to open the game pass app, it will ask you to download and install the game services again

    ______________________________________________________________

    If neither of those procedures works, try to restore your PC's OS via the ISO image tool, using that tool you will be able to maintain your installed games and files.

    If you're using Windows 10:

    If you're using Windows 11:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...

    First, you will download it > Open the ISO Image tool > Open a file inside it called SETUP.exe > Select upgrade > download from the cloud > Keep games and apps.

    Xcloud on a Windows 10 desktop PC

    My question is actually about the lack of Bluetooth support of my PC.

    On the xcloud supported device list, the Windows 10 PCs are required to have a bluetoothe 4.0 support. Mine is a desktop and doesn't have bluetooth at all. Will it prevent xcloud to be operational on my PC ?
