Design labs controller reward

Can someone please let me know if I purchased a digital code for a design labs controller would it qualify for the 15,000 rewards credits? I would love to be able to give this as a Christmas gift, but since it has to be done by the 17th it would require
telling the person and having them design it ahead of time. You are paying for the controller ahead of time the same as designing and ordering yourself, but I'm not seeing any fine print saying it does or doesn't qualify specifically for the rewards mission.

Today a promotion for Microsoft Rewards is going on that if you purchase a Design Labs controller, you receive 5,000 Microsoft Rewards points.

I purchased a Design Labs controller yesterday, and was wondering if I could have these points added.

I have done a chat with MS Rewards support who sent me to Design Labs support, so I chatted with Xbox Support who then sent me here.

Never Recieved my Promo Points
