So i found the cause of the issue for me, maybe it helps you.

It turns out that i had quite a few addresses registered onto my microsoft account. I deleted all of my addresses and all of my payment methods. I needed to keep one payment method/address so i chose the ones that were relevant to me.

Also in my case I had different addresses in different countries.

I then restarted the whole purchase process from scratch and it worked.

p.s i did call Microsoft store support again today and this person was tremendously helpful with all of this. Worth a try if you need to.

yes sadly i have tried both of those options :/ i used mobile data and disconnected from wifi and also used a vpn! thank you for trying to help though i appreciate it, is there anything else i could do?

i’m trying to order a customised xbox controller, however at the check out after i fill in my details eg my address, phone number etc once i press ‘save’ it keeps saying error try again later or try again another time, i’ve refreshed the tab and opened a new browser and everything and it’s around the 6th-7th time this has happened and it still won’t let me proceed to the further steps of check out :/ can anyone help?

Hello - i have the same error when i try to do the same thing. I called XBox support yesterday and they said to me that it is a known issue they are working on. They said to wait 24 hours but no luck so far.

Up to you whether you believe this or not, im not sure i do!
