Denon (Audio/Video Receivers): Xbox one x receiver passthrough HDR
Solved: turns out the Xbox one x is to much of a beast for the arc channel on the receiver and more than likely the TV. I switched the output from the receiver to a regular input on my TV and just like that it worked.! Sweet

  2. Xbox one X compatibility with TV's

Difference you're looking at is in the peak intensity of whites compared to blacks. Hdr10 is a competing format to Dolby Vision, both supported by the x, most new tvs support one or the other. Check your receiver for pad through settings as well. Look for
one with dts-x and Dolby Atmos with 4k and hdr passthrough.

    Good luck!

  3. Xbox Oe X Scorpio HDR Washed Out

I received my Scorpio edition today and got everything setup but upon checking Netflix anything in HDR is completely washed out. I have tried 5 different cables, every TV setting, and every Xbox setting I can find or think of. I
have even bypassed my Denon X7200WA completely and connected my One X directly to my 2017 LG OLED 65C7. I also have an Apple TV 4K, an Oppo UDP-203, and Nvidia Shield with HDR working perfectly fine. The LG Internl apps work fine too. The only way to fix the
Xbox Picture is to turn HDR completely off in settings.

Problem hdr with xbox one x/pioneer vsx-lx304/panasonic 55FZ800

    Hi adjudantzaza,

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums.

If you did not have this issue with your previous Denon 2400H and you are using the same cables and setup as you are currently using, then the Xbox One X is not compatible with the Pioneer VSX-LX304 for HDR passthrough. HDR video passthrough does not seem
to work with that A/V receiver and from what you have described and from the testing you've done, the issue is narrowed down to the Pioneer A/V as what is not working.

I would recommend contacting Pioneer Customer support for more information and if they are aware about this issue.

HDMI CEC with Denon AVC-660H receiver and series X

Withitn Denon's settings terminology "passthrough" means that the video signal from the source (XBOX) reaches the TV even while the receiver itself is on stand-by. If CEC is on, therefore passthrough is on (following the definition). If it is the case that the receiver can't get the CEC signal from the XBOX while on stand-by, then necessarily we have to switch it on manually.

I am waiting on Denon's reply which I will post here.

Cable TV stops working after a few seconds when passing though xbox and then A/V receiver.

I have the same issue as well. Denon receiver.. FIOS TV/Motorola Cable Box. everything works fine for TV passthrough when connected straight to the TV, but as soon as I ad the AV receiver, TV signal goes black and TV cuts in and out. hopefully something
that will get fixed in the future. I'm not sacrificing all of my other setups on my home theatre just to have the TV passthrough, but it's disappointing this doesn't seem to work with an AV receiver right now.
