Denied a refund for a broken digital game

If you still have the denial email, you can try replying to that with more details....sometimes refunds denied are then approved when more details are added. I wonder if the denial email reply goes to a person whereas the initial refund process is automated

I would recommend replying to the email that was sent denying your refund request and inform the refund team of the main concern why you wanted a refund for the game in that way they can check it further.

The Xbox Support Team reserves the right to approve or deny any refund requests. You would have to contact them directly to find more information on why your request was denied.

if you have played the game for more than 2 hours and/or owned for more than a few days they deny refunds, contact support to explain about the constant lag and the game is broken, they may assist, if you have had several refunds in the past 12 months then
they usually deny too.
