Deluxe Edition problems-VIP status not recognized, unable to obtain most cars from packs for ...

I pre-ordered and downloaded Deluxe Edition for Forza Horizon 2 so it was ready to play on the release date. After playing it after a couple hours I realized I was not getting bonuses for VIP. Also, I could only get a few of the cars from the Launch pack
for free, but there were a couple of cars from that pack and and all the cars from Day One and VIP pack that I could not get for free. It said that I had already purchased these cars.

Forza 4 has one too. Its THE only collectors edition I have ever purchased only because it gives you VIP status. Which results in free cars from T10 and you are at the top of the Auction House. Otherwise I never buy collectors edition for anything.

 

Porsche Pak question

From my understanding the porshe pack has nothing to do with the VIP pack. The VIP pack is just a way to have the collector's edition cars and maybe the crown by your name....possibly the tracks? I'm not sure, I bought the LCE at launch.

 

Is there a crown by your rank/gamertag in game? I have read some issues about not getting cars, may want to check forzamotorsports.net for info regarding your issue.
