Dell u2713hm problems...

I was using my Dell u2713hm and it stopped working with my Xbox One. It worked fine, but today I turned on my Xbox and the screen stayed black. I put a bluray in and it finally loaded the bluray. I pushed the Xbox home button and it worked but when I clicked
on settings it went blank again.

The monitor works for my desktop through HDMI just fine.

Distorted Graphics in Solitaire and Mahjong

I have the same problems on a Dell desktop. I can play both games on my Dell laptop fine. I am holding off updating Solitaire on the laptop until you have a resolution.

Xbox One Screen Tearing

I'm gaming on a Dell U2713HM monitor. That's not the problem.

Titanfall uses adaptive vsync. There's no tearing when the game is running at 60FPS, but when the frame rate dips, which usually happens either right at the beginning of the game when everyone is jumping out of the drop ship, or when a bunch of titans are
firing all kinds of rockets and stuff at each other and the action is very hectic, you get tearing. That has nothing to do with the TV or monitor that you're using and there's no make/model of TV you could buy to make the tearing go away.

Sorry to hear about the display issues. I recommend trying a few troubleshooting steps to see if we can get this issue sorted.

Please give the following steps a try:

Press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 5 seconds.

Once your console is powered off, unplug the power cord.

Wait 5 minutes and plug in your console.

Power on your console and check to see if you are still experiencing the black screen.

If the issue continues, try using a different HDMI cable if possible.

I have used dell for years I have an alienware, my husband has dell laptop and I bought my mother a dell laptop and a dell pc also I bought my daughter-in -law a dell laptop. I have dealt with cs and never had a problem. I will be buying my next tablet from
dell...guess I'm a Dell fanboy LOL never had a problem. Sorry to hear so many unhappy reports...

I tried your suggestion, but it didn't help. I reinstalled W10 (for the 17th time in one year) on my Dell Vostro 7500, but this time I left out some Dell applications. So far, all is well and Windows Store is much quicker. AMONG US and Minecraft installed quickly.

I suspect one of the Dell applications or setup procedures I was given by Dell may have been the problem,

but time will tell.
