    Please check my controller delivery status.

    I already sent out my faulty controller but I still didn't get new replacement.

    I think there is delivery issue.

    Microsoft giving free digital games for users with broken disc drives

    I was just told this while chatting with an MS rep about a separate issue: "Every console sent in for repair will have a free 30 day Xbox Live Gold subscription after the repair. However for those with disc unreadable issue, on top of the free 30 day Xbox Live Gold subscription, they'll receive a free game token." They will email the code after the replacement XBox has shipped.

    Hi Marian,

    You don't need to prove the issue.

    After requesting a repair, you'll print off a delivery label, UPS will come to collect your console, and the Service Centre will check for the issue (referencing the original order notes) and look at what the issue is.

    It’s actually 14 to 21 business days for an official repair or replacement from Microsoft, and this does include shipping time. The exact wait time depends on a various number of factors though such as your country/region, the specific model, etc.

    As confirmed in this support guide:

    Getting your Xbox device serviced | Xbox Support

    > Track your service order status

    After your console or sensor has been received at our service centre, the average time of service is 14 to 21 days, including shipping time.

    > Track the shipment from your location to the service centre

    Use the proof of shipment or tracking number that you received at the time of shipping to check the shipment status at the carrier’s website. You can also contact the carrier for more info. Once we receive your product at our service centre, we’ll notify you by email.

    When we ship your serviced product from our service centre, you’ll get an email that includes a tracking number. Use that tracking number to check the shipping status at the carrier’s website or contact the carrier for info.

    Note It can take up to three days for the shipping status to update on the carrier’s website.

    Jeff, 2 day delivery time starts counting as soon as you get an email from Microsoft telling you they send the controller back to you.

    Remember that all these dates are estimated time. Can take less or more than expected

    Repair or replace?

    I would definitely consider replacing the model. The price you listed is a little better than half the cost of a new one here in Canada.

    Not only will you get a better functioning console but you'll have a one year warranty with it as well. If you get one with a hard drive be sure to get an official Xbox transfer cable to transfer your content from the old drive to the new drive (If you
    are currently using an S or E console then you don't need the cable because the drive is compatible - if you are using an FAT console then the cable is required to transfer).

    Be sure to only use an official transfer cable as 3rd party cables have been known to ruin both hard drives and repairs are not supported for 3rd party issues.
