    Delisted DLC still available after I Delete, Then Redownload my Profile?


    I recently changed my GT and tried to boot up a 360 game (Battlefield Bad Company 2) but I wasn't able to sign into my profile and was given a prompt that read;

    "Sorry, this profile can't connect to Xbox live on this console. To fix it, download it again."

    Did some digging and found out how to fix it. I essentially have to go into 'Manage Storage -> Profile -> click the particular profile -> Delete said profile -> then Redownload it'.

    My real concern is if go through this process and delete my profile, will the dlc i purchased for Battlefield BC2 no longer be accessible because of its delisting after I redownload my profile?

    when changing gamertags you always need to redownload the profile on the 360 or for 360 games as it cannot update the stored info
    Do I have to redownload my profile on a 360 console? I'm assuming redownloading my profile through the 360 interface while on my Xbox One (or future consoles) will do the trick but I just want to double check.

    when changing gamertags you always need to redownload the profile on the 360 or for 360 games as it cannot update the stored info, as for your dlc as stated above, all previously downloaded content is tied to your account and is always available regardless of delisting.

    Any content you have previously obtained remains in your profile and should be able to be downloaded, deleting your profile and adding it back to the console has no bearing on whether or not you lose certain content.

    yep, just download the profile again either on a 360 or on the xbox one/series via BC interface.

    When deleting a profile on Xbox 360 you are given the option to delete only the profile or also delete the items, if you choose to delete only the profile, this option deletes the Xbox profile, but keeps the achievements and saved games and DLCs.
