Deleting Xbox account + Changing Xbox account's email address

the microsoft account is the email and xbox account, if your parents used their account to create your xbox account then they still own that account, changing the primary email and deleting their email address just basically means changed your parents email address and if they had used their original address to sign into other services across the net then you have just broken all of that.

as you changed the email address the email inbox will still belong to them and they will still receive emails.

you need to create your own account.

Changing the email address on an Xbox account deletes the old address.

The deletion is immediate and permanent.

The deleted address cannot be used again.

There is no recovery of the address.

I know this is not what you wanted to hear.

On your xbox go onto account, Your Information and Select Account Security and from there you can change the email address, then delete the email or make a spare email to move the account and close the email.

It isn't possible to transfer accounts. You can change the email address, there are risks that by deleting the existing email address, it will delete your account.

Just do not use them - they will be recycled in a decaide or so.

Users can not delete accounts from the xbox servers.
