Discus and support Deleting the game from the cloud in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I would like to delete my game from the cloud so that I can start over at the introduction.     Deleting the game from the cloud


    I would like to delete my game from the cloud so that I can start over at the introduction. Is that possible??

    Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

    Deleting the game from the cloud

    Hi!

    Data can not be deleted from the Cloud. To start a new game you have to create a new profile and add it to the console.

    Try these steps from the
    Cloud Save Games FAQ    :

    How do I delete saves I don’t want?
    You can manage your data for individual games through My games & apps on your Home screen. Here's how:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then select My games and apps.
    2. Highlight the game, press the Menu button on your controller, and then select Manage game.
    3. In the menu on the left of the screen, scroll down to Saved Data, then highlight the saved data for your gamertag on the right and press the A button on your controller.
    4. You'll be prompted to confirm deletion of this game save data:
      • Delete from console removes the local copy of this save. You can get it from the cloud the next time you play.
      • Delete everywhere removes your saved data from this console, the cloud, and all other consoles you play on.
      • Cancel leaves your data intact.

    Use 'Delete everywhere' to ensure all data is deleted, keeping in mind this is not reversible once you take the step to delete.

    Ok, I understand.

    That depends on whether the console has already synchronized the deleted game to the cloud.

    If the console hasn't deleted the game save from the cloud yet, the game sync with the save file in the cloud automatically. When you start the game, it'll download the save from the cloud.

    If the game save however is gone in the cloud as well, then there is currently no way to get it back again.

    If you went to Menu > Manage Games > Saves > Delete Save Data > “Delete Everywhere“, it's deleted from the cloud and can't be recovered.

    You can't delete cloud content, but if you delete something from your console it will be also deleted in the cloud.

    It just deletes from the console and if the game was automatically saved on the cloud, you can download it back from the cloud or it just syncs itself from the cloud.
