Deleting saved games

our Xbox 360 is almost full because of the amount of Skyrim games my son has saved on the unit.

Can you erase old games without having to start all over again?

There is a problem with your saved games

just try deleting the saved game for that game. It will erase the data for the saved game you’re deleting.

If you've been cheating then yes they get wiped, but no-one here should be doing that

As long as you don't erase any new saves he wouldn't need to start over.

You should be able to erase old saves no problem and not lose where you are in the game, just make sure to not erase your current save as that will be your most up to date one with all of your current progress.

Hey

Sorry to hear this has happened. The best way to check if it's a local issue or an issue with your profile is to

1. Disconnect your Xbox from the Internet

2. Launch a game

3. Play for a bit and make a local save

4. Exit the game and reconnect to the internet

5. Boot up the game again. If a cloud save is detected,it will ask whether you want to use the cloud save or the local save. Select the cloud save and hopefully it will be recovered.

Otherwise your best bet is to contact Xbox Support https://support.xbox.com/en-US/contact-us#0 .

All of them

Some games start from scratch others want to start from begining but i can play on from save points (but cant select level)

And any items ive unlocked are now not available meaning id have to re do tje levels to unlock certain weapons/items/skins etc

Which game is it? Depending on what got deleted. Mainly progress would reset if that was the case. Sometimes though, there are game records that will not erase since that is with the online servers which is separate from the system data game saves.
