    Deleting cloud saves?


    Is it possible to delete cloud saves? In particular, I'm having difficulties with NBA2K14 on my Xbox One.

    On one particular Gamertag, after it synced with the cloud save, the game would be unplayable on that GT, perhaps due to a corrupt/faulty/problematic game save. No game modes are playable after the sync is completed and would always bounce me back to the
    mode selection screen. I thought maybe a Restore to Factory Default would solve this problem, but the same thing happens and I still end up with an unplayable game save that was synced from the cloud.
    This GT does not have Gold membership.

    However, on another GT, after it syncs with the cloud save, no save data exists. Again, I tried a Restore to Factory Default and no save data exists. This GT does have Gold membership.

    Yeah. Should be on cloud if just the console save. When you delete via Xbox get option to delete local or delete everywhere. As long as deleted local should sync back next time

    Deleting cloud saves?

    We can't delete them at this point.

    The way Microsoft handled storage management for the One is absolutely mind boggling. They took away our ability to handle our saves and backups the way we choose.

    Have you tried starting the game offline, playing and then going online to overwrite the corrupt save? or does it load a corrupt hard drive save when offline?

    If you mean by disconnecting my WiFi network, playing and then reconnecting, I have not tried that yet. Otherwise, my WiFi has always been on.

    Does playing offline then going online overwrite the save that will appear on the cloud?

    I never played that game so I'm not sure when the save loads and what loads when you start a new game.

    If you can start a new game offline it'll overwrite the cloud save when you go back online but if it loads corrupt data from the hard drive as soon as you start the game then not much you can do until we can access the HD and delete saves.

    Not being funny im very angry about certain saving problems im having atvthe moment along the same lines with 2 other games aswell,its been with teir 3 advocacy for 2 weeks now and no fix yet,they are unable to but just cannot admit it in my eyes as its
    a major embarrisment to MS,,as they ballsed this no access hdd cloud saving up from the beggining,im sorry but sod voice messages,party issues UI ect get the damn hdd access sorted asap.we are spending money on games and if the saves of cloud has 1 single
    issue as of present nothing can be done about it,I have certain dlc locked on my xb1 with no way of removing it or even purchasing it again and its broken,so complerely unusable as its meant to becused and canot access it any othercway than buying a new bloody
    xb1 along with the above.

    To My Knowledge I Dont Think That You Can Delete Cloud Save As The Cloud Save Is Saved On The Cloud Not On The Xbox So You Cannot Delete Or Edit

    Ok, I understand.

    That depends on whether the console has already synchronized the deleted game to the cloud.

    If the console hasn't deleted the game save from the cloud yet, the game sync with the save file in the cloud automatically. When you start the game, it'll download the save from the cloud.

    If the game save however is gone in the cloud as well, then there is currently no way to get it back again.

    If you went to Menu > Manage Games > Saves > Delete Save Data > “Delete Everywhere“, it's deleted from the cloud and can't be recovered.

    If cloud saves were deleted, im not sure theres anything to recover. Cant imagine if this would work, but deleting and reinstalling the game might reset the account back to a cloud save but since everything cloud saved is constantly updated...might be

    I'm trying to delete the cloud saves but I'm not seeing a delete saves from everywhere option. The only save data I have is reserved space. I've previously tried deleting that but it doesnt delete the cloud save only the local reserved space.

    Edit: accessed the cloud save through a different xbox 360 i had laying around. When trying to delete the cloud save i got a message saying unable to perform action because the item is being used by another xbox

    How do I Delete Games that I saved From the cloud On Xbox one

    Unfortunately there is no way to browse save files that are stored in the cloud, so you can't go through them and delete the ones you no longer want.

    You can delete a cloud save, but only if you have the game installed and also have a local save. To do that, go into "Manage game" for the game, go into "Saved data", then instead of clicking the "Delete all" button, highlight the save, press the menu button on your controller, then choose the option to delete the save. That will bring up another screen that gives you a "Delete everywhere" option, which deletes both the local and cloud save.

    Unfortunately, that is currently the only way to manually delete a save from the cloud.
