Deleting and Re-downloading

So I put a game in my xbox and I was horrified to see that it would not come out. After hours of trying to manually eject it, it would not come out. I finally picked up my xbox and while pushing the eject button began to shake it and the disc flew out. So
now my question is, am I able to buy this game from the xbox store and have all my progress there if I delete the disc file?

I'm a little confused..., so you are saying the Xbox is OK and the problem was with the disc itself? I just want to make sure you are confident that when you try another disc you do not run into the same problem. As far as your progress, any game saves,
and games and apps that you have purchased, are tide to your account and stored in the Microsoft/Xbox cloud. If and when you get a new disc, your Xbox should see that you previously owned this game and will sync your progress with Xbox Live when you start
playing it again. Indeed, other than disc space, I'm not sure there's a need to delete any old disc files at all.

Before you tried re-downloading it did you delete the original download off your xbox? If not delete it from your xbox first and then try re-downloading it.

I would delete the download, delete it off your hard-drive, delete systems cache. Then re-download the content.

Have you tried to delete and re-download/re-install the game and content? Follow the steps in the Download Guide (forums.xbox.com/.../33.aspx) on how to delete/re-download.

I am experiencing the same thing "Error download package was removed or all profiles are signed out" on COD: AW

Things we tried:

• Cleared the cache

• Deleted the update then re-download

• Deleted the profile then re-download

• Deleted game title update then re-download

• Restarted the console

Still getting the same exact thing >_> HELPZIES!!!
