Deleting an installed game.

Xbox 360 only has 15,000 servers world wide. Xbox 1 uses more Xbox Live/servers worldwide. Microsoft said something like more than the computing power in 1999. 300,000+ servers worldwide. And since much more people are on Xbox 360 compared to Xbox 1, I'd
say storage capacity for game saves for Xbox 1 players isn't a major issue, unless perhaps if Xbox 1 had like 100 million people on Xbox 1 which just isn't so right now. All your info on Xbox Live gets BACKED UP too. Like when Xbox Live has issues on 360 or/and
Xbox 1 like your Gamerscore or friends list says 0 when it shouldn't, when it's working properly, it's back to normal. Why? because they back up that info.

[/quote]That depends on how much you plan to put on it. If you install all your games to it and put movies and music on it it might take a while, unless you are just going crazy and download everything under the sun. So it all depends.

@ SparkStormrider, to the best of my knowledge, movies and music aren't stored on the X1 anywhere. They are all streamed to it, not stored on it.

 

I hit my limit last month on the PS4 with my cloud saves and some of these saves aren't small.

Madden Footballs saves were nearly 250 mb, Tropic 5 is currently at 175 mb, DriveClub 115 mb and even Minecraft was 45 mb. Most were in the 20 to 40 range.

The PS4 notifies you when files are uploaded to the cloud or when they aren't which is how I knew my limit had been reached. I can then go in and see the files that are stored in the cloud and delete or back them up to USB or HD.

My concern will be games that allows multiple saves being overwritten at some point and only keeping a specific number of saves for each game. This is the feature I've been waiting for most on the One, the ability to control how and where my saves are located.

 

External HDD's for the Xbox One can only be formatted 1 of 2 ways.

1. For Games and Apps

2. For Movies and Music.

Plan accordingly.

If you need a 5TB HDD, you really need to go outside more lol. Just kidding. My console's HDD has only 12GB free and I'm not even a hardcore gamer. My Seagate 1TB slim HDD should be enough for now, I also have another Seagate Slim 1TB HDD for backing up
my word picture and video files from my PC.
