    Deleting all achievements (through deleting MS account)?


    I want to delete all achievements from my GamerTag, which is not possible (all of my games are from GFWL which is shutdown).

    If I delete my Microsoft account, does it also delete the GamerTag so I am free to make a new Microsoft account with my old GamerTag?

    I would just change the GamerTag to something new and make a new account with my old tag, but they charge $10. So deleting my account seems like it should work.

    MS should check if your achievements have dates

    Sorry but, i am having some trouble on understanding what happened to you.
    So you lost all your achievements, but why? What did you do so that Microsoft deleted all your achievements but didn't block your account?

    Deleting a Microsoft account.

    You cant delete an xbox live account

    deleting an ms account only makes the profile harder to recover but the name and any xbox related settings will still exist

    Users cant delete accounts because that would be dangerous

    if you are trying to delete it so you can move the gamesaves and achievements to another profile even if you delete a gamertag the gamesaves will still be on the old profile

    Would like to have achievements for games no longer owned or rented deleted

    MS has the ability to remove ALL achievements from a cheater. It is not possible for them to delete certain ones from certain games.

    this is why you delete profile only not profile and games you cannot get deleted saves back only your account and it's remaining live, MS points and any achievements unlocked as well as anything that was bought and downloaded from the marketplace.
