    Accidentally deleted profile without having it backed up. Is there a way to get the profile back with all achievements? or is there a way to add the previous achievements to a newly created profile and use the existing xbox live account?

    Deleting downloaded profile?

    I decided to dust off my 360 and I downloaded my profile awhile ago. But if I delete it and not my actual profile. All of my saves and data will still be there, right? Because from what I read. The only point of downloading your profile, is if you want to log in to a different console.

    Saves should be fine, proflie can be deleted and redownloaded.

    Hey mate, so was this profile connected to Xbox Live or was it a local account?

    -

    If it was connected to Xbox Live and had an email and password you can download your profile following the steps here:

    support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete

    -

    It was a local account and had no email or password then I'm afraid it would be lost forever, also keep in mind that your profile will be the most recent version that has been connected to Xbox Live so if you got any achievements offline they will be gone
    when you re-download the profile.

    -

    Also you cannot merge two profiles.

    The profile is connected to an xbox live account, however when i try to log into the live account i receive an error stating there is an issue with my credentials.

    For an issue with credentials you want to sign in to your profile on account.live.com to update proofs.

    If the profile that you deleted from your console is the one that you are posting from, you can indeed get it back. However, you will need to connect to Xbox LIVE long enough to download it. The only other option would be to download your profile to another
    console and then transfer it with a USB drive. As for the game save, you can copy it or move it using another profile, making it owned by that profile. But, while you'll be able to afcess it with the new profile, you will not be able to earn achievements with
    that save file any longer if you make a new profile the owner.
