    Deleted profile


    I deleted my profile while trouble shooting Xbox live (trying to set up live for first time) when I followed the steps to delete corrupted data in profile and redownload I got a download of a profile and gamer tag that had no game played data when I checked
    save game data in storage it shows not attached to any profile. When I try to move those files to my USB it says I can't

    Anyone able to help?

    Deleting downloaded profile?

    I decided to dust off my 360 and I downloaded my profile awhile ago. But if I delete it and not my actual profile. All of my saves and data will still be there, right? Because from what I read. The only point of downloading your profile, is if you want to log in to a different console.

    Deleting downloaded profile?

    Saves should be fine, proflie can be deleted and redownloaded.

    If the profile that you deleted from your console is the one that you are posting from, you can indeed get it back. However, you will need to connect to Xbox LIVE long enough to download it. The only other option would be to download your profile to another
    console and then transfer it with a USB drive. As for the game save, you can copy it or move it using another profile, making it owned by that profile. But, while you'll be able to afcess it with the new profile, you will not be able to earn achievements with
    that save file any longer if you make a new profile the owner.
