    Deleted Parent on Xbox One


    My Xbox’s parent account has become inaccessable and I’m quite sure its been deleted. I was trying to change my communication settings so I could talk to people, but my parent account’s profile picture was blank and I couldn’t sign into it. This account
    hasn’t been used in a few years (might have timed out or something). If there is away to add another parent or another way to edit my settings that would be great. Thanks.

    I am the parent on my sons xbox..however I have 2 accounts ..can I delete one? I am unable to sign in to the one I want to so I can change his parental controls

    Can login, but can't manage account

    I had one in the past, but I'm sure i deleted this parental account since I'm 21. I tried all my email accounts but none is registered to xbox live.

    I got an error while playing dark souls yesterday, something with my parental account.

    But like I said I either cant login to this parental account or I deleted it already.

    Hello Tyler,

    Sorry for the issue with the parent account. To add another adult you will need to add one from the current parent account, which you are unable to sign into so wouldn't be able to.

    You will have to remove yourself from the family, then
    add it to a different parent account.

    If you are having issues removing the child account request a call back and a support agent will be able to help you.

    When you go to
    Contact Us     to get it to request a callback follow these steps:

    • Step 1 ----select Xbox One
    • Step 2 ----select no thanks, then select category system update
    • Step 3-----gives some troubleshooting or help tips
    • Step 4 ----select request a call from support

    Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you.

    i would like to know also, my account is a child account and i created a parental one so i could have mine and i deleted the parental account from my xbox and then i gave it away and my account still has the parental one connected to it so if someone could

    Also you can indeed use the account you created on the PC for the Xbox, just make sure to select the 'Download Profile' option when on the console:

    Im not saying delete the parent account from the family, i mean remove the parent account from the console. It's his home xbox and his live Gold, the parent account is just on the console for accountability.
