Deleted Gamer tag

Hi,

My son moved his profile to a flashdrive and then it got deleted on the laptop and I can't find it in the recycle bin and the x box is linked to my email address.

Can I get it back ?

I tried that but it only downloads the profile linked to the email address which is mine, not my sons.

Hi,

Does your son's profile not have a different email?

Flash Drives and USB sticks don't have their own recycle bins, and don't use the recycle bins of the OS on laptops and desktops. This means, unfortunately, that once it's deleted it's gone, there's no way of getting it back.

There is no way to delete a gamer tag. You can pay to have it changed, but deleting the Microsoft Account will not delete the associated gamer tag and will only make that gamer tag inaccessible since there will no longer be a supporting Microsoft account.

Yes they said slowly there deleting the OG's (Original Gamer Tag's) and they didnt set a specific date of when they do delete the Gamer Tags
