Deleted everything!

Hello,

My son was playing just fine around 5 pm. He took a break, and when he went back, everything on his xbox is gone. He can't even reinstall Fortnite or YouTube. And everything else, games we bought on his console, everything is gone. I have no idea how to
help him or how to fix it. All his progress, everything is missing. Please help me help my son. Thank you in advance.

I'm very sorry to hear you lost everything on your Xbox 360. I know this situation is not ideal, but you can redownload the items you lost by following the steps on our Redownload
Xbox Content page.

I have an Xbox One now but for the answer, it wasn't helpful. I lost my saved games as well. As in Single player story mode games that aren't re-downloadable. Being a high level like 68, in a game like Skyrim, is hard to redo.

Is there any error message displayed while attempting to reinstall a game or app? Also what console is it and is there any external hard drive plugged in?

Unfortunately, you can't get your data back. This usually happens when your storage device is on the tinkering point of failure and needs to be replaced.
