Deleted captures.. Reappear!

I got a warning letting me know my game captures were filling up on the network and to delete/move them.

I did just that... Copied all the captures to an external hard drive.

But after deleting them all from the network (via my XBOX Series X), they would show back up there. No matter how many times I tried deleting them, back they came.

I also tried deleting them (one at a time) via the Xbox app on my Android. Same result.

As I said, I cannot delete the captures to open up space… they just keep reappearing

There isn't a specific error message that appears in either case. The videos just reappear after being deleted and my new captures don't upload to Xbox network, even after it says they did.

I just deleted some ss and they have reappeared after reloading Manage captures. I'll wait a bit and get back to you cos it may take 24 hrs. I'm surprised it would tho.

My one drive is showing no documents or photos or anything in it. I have tried deleting from both Xbox Live and my Xbox but every time I start my Xbox back up all the photos reappear under my xbox live captures but not on "on this xbox" captures section
of the options.
