Deleted All Messages from App, but Xbox One still Shows all Old messages

So I have deleted each message via the Xbox app on my Samsung mobile phone. Messages show up fine and I can delete them fine on the app.

However, the console still shows all old messages before I deleted them on the mobile app. The messages has the loading icon forever and never loads any new messages I get.

Its been like this for the past month now. If I want to check new messages or reply, I have to do it through the app on my phone.

Any known fix for this?

4 unread messages that are not there

Hello all,

On my Xbox one it shows that I have 4 unread messages. I've deleted a bunch of messages I can't find it. I've also read through multiple messages and I cannot find it. I've deleted my account on my Xbox and re added it, they still show up. On the Xbox site
it shows I have no messages but on my actual Xbox and phone app they are there. Any help as to what else I can do?

Confirmed to work for me at least. I deleted all my messages. however, I am in the preview program and I had one message from Xbox live. Not sure if that one was causing problems, but it works now. Try deleting all messages from the Xbox one Messages app.
then try again.

Deleting messages on the xbox app wont delete the same message on console and vice versa

 

Well that sounds more like a issue with the app/console.

Why is it that my console keeps showing the same messages, loading the entire time its open? When I delete them on the xbox, go into another by mistake and come back, all the ones I just deleted are back. Its like this everytime.
